Certified Medical Coding Analyst
Outsource Management Group, LLC is seeking professionals who are self-motivated, and detailed oriented with strong organizational skills for the position of Certified Coding Analyst.
The candidate will assist our Director of Billing & Consulting Services with coding and/or analysis of billing and coding documents in our Corporate office in Bloomington, Indiana.
All Candidates Would Be Required To Perform The Following Functions:
- Assign proper ICD-9 codes to diagnosis
- Assign proper CPT codes
- Correctly link diagnosis codes to procedures
- Verify proper usage of diagnosis by providers
All Candidates Must Be Well-Rounded Individuals Possessing The Following:
- A certification with an accredited coding association, such as a AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS-P
- At least 3 years experience in CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding
- Effective communication skills
- Billing and insurance knowledge
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc
- Good analytical skills
